Education:
Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in Elementary Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH; Masters classes taken at the University of MI; attending school for additional Early Childhood Licensure.
Experience:
Taught 3rd grade for 2 years in MI and operated an in-home child care. Taught as an Instructional Assistant and long-term guest teacher for grades 4K-5th in Elmbrook schools for 3 years. Taught 4K for 1 year in a parochial school and as a Guest Teacher in grades 4K-4th in Muskego/Norway schools for 2 years. Joined the teaching staff of Apple Ridge Academy in July 2011!
I have always wanted to be a teacher. My mom & grandmother were both teachers, and were both amazing role models for the profession. I have inherited their passion for teaching. Being with children every day and watching them grow and learn is priceless!
I have 2 children, Sydney and Zach. They attend school in Brookfield. I also have a cat named Stormy. I married Kevin in September, 2011! In my free time, I love to read, scrapbook, listen to country music & spend time with my friends & family.
