Owner/Teacher of an in-home child care center for 1 year; taught for 2 years in a Two year old classroom; taught for 2 years in a Preschool classroom. Joined the teaching staff of Apple Ridge Academy in February 2010, from the beginning!

I find it extremely rewarding to work with children! I love the idea of helping families shape their children and watching them grow every day. I also find that in teaching, the children challenge me to learn about myself. There is nothing more heart-warming than a child’s innocent smile and unconditional love!
I enjoy reading, outdoor physical activities (I’m hoping to get into cycling!), and listening to country music. I love playing Wii and watching American Idol. I have a brother and a sister, and live in Waukesha with my dad and dog, Buster.
