Education: Leadership Credential (UW-Milwaukee), PDAs training, Master Trainer Certification from the Wisconsin Registry, The Wisconsin Professional Credential for Child Care Administrators (UW-Milwaukee), Early Childhood Education I & II (Mount Mary College), Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/ Sociology with Early Childhood emphasis (UW-Whitewater), Associate of Arts & Sciences in Psychology (UW-Barron County), Infant & Toddler Certification, SIDS Prevention, Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention, Adult/Pediatric CPR/AED, First Aid, Child Abuse & Neglect Recognition & Prevention, numerous hours of additional professional development and training in Early Childhood Education & Administration.

Experience: Taught in Preschool & 4K Classrooms beginning in 1997. Began administrative duties as Assistant Center Director, in addition to teaching, in 1999. From that point on, have held the position of Center Director in a nationally accredited early childhood learning center, as well as Director in a non-profit, academic learning center.

Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from WCTC; Administrative and Leadership Credentials from UW-Milwaukee; Additional coursework toward Bachelor's Degree at UW-Milwaukee.

Experience: Employed in the Early Childhood field for 25 years - as teacher, administrator, and director.

 "Children have always been my passion. I enjoy developing close relationships with children, families, and the community, and I love watching children grown and learn!

I enjoy spending my free time doing things with friends and family. My children (Nathan - 26, and Isaiah - 13) are my everything!" 

Education: Bachelor of Science with a double major in Social Work and Psychology.  Early Childhood I & II; Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher; School Violence & Crisis; Conscious Discipline; Child Abuse & Neglect; CPR; SIDS; Shaken Baby Syndrome; Pursuing Program Credential, starting in June 2020.

Experience: 3 Years in the Early Childhood field; Volunteered and worked with Birth to 3 Program, and Youth Diversion Program.

"I love working with children because I love making a difference in children's lives. I like that they question things as they learn, and I really enjoy watching them grow as they discover new things!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also love to bake and decorate cupcakes."

Experience: Taught in various Early Childhood classrooms with Infants and Toddlers for over 8 years and in various other settings with children of many different ages for several years. Joined the teaching staff at Apple Ridge Academy in April 2014!

 

"I feel as if teaching is my calling and it comes very naturally to me. I love to provide my skills and training in a real way to make life better for as many families and children as I can touch. I have family all over the U.S. and I enjoy traveling to see them! Cooking and trying new recipes is another one of my hobbies. I also like to bowl and I really enjoy running, last spring I ran my first half-marathon!"

Experience: Started with Apple Ridge Academy upon its opening in February 2010!

"I chose to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education because I whole-heartedly believe in the importance of the early years in a child's development and I wanted to help create a place where children are safe, loved and celebrated! I love being a part of their early learning journey and helping foster a genuine life-long love for learning! In my free time I LOVE being outdoors- fishing, hunting, hiking, boating or just sitting around a campfire :) I love spending time with my friends and family- I am very close with all of my cousins! I also travel upnorth a lot to spend time with my family in northern WI. I have 3 dogs and 10 chickens and love animals of all sorts!"
