This continuing ed opportunity is for all staff and is available to both "new" staff that have joined us after February 2019 as well as those who were in attendance at the February Staff Meeting.
Our February 2019 Staff Meeting was called "Teaching is a Work of Heart." We talked about how teaching is more than just a job, and that to be successful as a teacher... it has to be our true passion!
Tammy told her story and the story of how Apple Ridge started and how we grew to be where we are today. We then briefly discussed the steps below to help us find our WHY, and shared our WHY with each other to create a video that will be released for everyone soon :)
You may earn 1 hour of continuing ed for reviewing the information below, doing steps 1-4 and then writing down and sharing your thoughts and reflections.
Step 1: Please answer the questions listed under Step 1 in the "Finding Your WHY" information below.
Step 2: Please share your WHY in 1-5 sentences.
Step 3: Share your WHY with someone else and write a paragraph about how the interaction / sharing went and how you felt sharing your WHY. Do you have plans to share with anyone else? Who?
Step 4: Reflect on which "stage" of passion development you feel you are in at this moment. Explain in your own words how you feel the passion development process applies in your own personal situation.
Please write or type your answers / thoughts / reflections for each step and turn this in to the Director for continuing ed credit.
